Lundin Mining, a través de sus operaciones Minera Candelaria y Caserones, estuvo presente en la cuarta versión de Atacamin, iniciativa organizada por la Secretaría Regional Ministerial de Minería de Atacama, que se enmarca en la conmemoración del Día de la Minería y que reunió a las principales empresas mineras de la región, organismos públicos y entidades educacionales.
La exposición minera, que busca ser un centro articulador de la industria minera, la academia, las comunidades y el Estado, contó con la presencia de autoridades nacionales, encabezadas por la subsecretaría de Minería, Suina Chahuán, junto a autoridades regionales y locales, además de ejecutivos de las empresas e instituciones participantes.
Atacamin 2025 consideró además diversos conversatorios que abordaron temas relacionados con avances de los proyectos de litio en la región de Atacama, una reflexión sobre la relevancia de la seguridad en la minería y relatos de mujeres líderes del rubro minero.
El stand corporativo de Lundin Mining – Candelaria – Caserones dio cuenta de las principales acciones de las compañías, tanto en materia operacional como de vinculación comunitaria. Especial interés del público despertó la presentación de videos que muestran las operaciones a través de visores de realidad virtual en 360° y la maqueta de un refugio de minería subterránea, entre otros elementos.
